Are You Allowed to Get Married?

I had a nightmare yesterday. The government had been taken over by this fringe feminist group called the Tahirih Justice Center. This organization had crafted and pushed through a new law called IMBRA. This law put in to place certain rules for American men that wanted to say hello to women through an international dating site.

In my dream men were forced to reveal certain personal information to foreign women before they could say hi to them. This included things like names, number of marriages, dates of any divorces, number of children and their ages, every State lived in over the past twenty years, and a complete criminal background check.

I am awake now, but unfortunately my nightmare has become a reality for tens of thousands of American men. Men forced to wear a scarlet letter which labels them potential predators and spousal abusers to any foreign women they come in contact with. It also serves as a bulls eye for scammers across the Internet looking to gather valuable information on potential victims. What crime has provoked such a mean spirited law? Looking outside the borders of the United States for a marriage partner.

Our government has determined that a man's right to Free Association only applies within the borders of the United States of America. Our government has drawn a cyber line in the sand to criminalize the act of communicating with women that have not been deprogrammed my extreme feminists. What is the penalty for failing to comply with the requirements of IMBRA? A denied Visa petition. The paperwork one must file to have the privilege of spending a lifetime with a woman from another country.

Consider this a wake up call. Realize this is the first step in series of moves to make it illegal to marry a foreign woman. If men continue to fall asleep at the wheel, and allow extremists to dictate the course of their lives, they have agreed to forfeit rights guaranteed under the Constitution of this country.

If you have experienced problems filing a K1 visa or K3 visa which are directly related to IMBRA, we want to hear from you. Please tell us your stories, and more importantly what you plan to do about it. It is important that we hear from as many men as possible so that all of your voices can be heard.
